CLEOBURY Mortimer Golf Club's Jon Jones captured the Worcestershire title for the second time in his career by winning a thrilling final.
Jones shaded a tense sudden death play-off to clinch the trophy at Fulford Heath Golf Club in Birmingham.
After an opening round of 73 he trailed three players by four strokes, but shot a four under par 66 in the second round to tie for the lead with England international Joe Ferguson.
A three-hole play-off failed to separate the two but Jones held his nerve to sink a 20-yard putt for a birdie in a sudden death hole.
"I played well in the morning but holed little on the greens," said Jones. "The afternoon was a different story, every putt found the hole."
