A STOURPORT man awaiting trial on drug peddling charges has hanged himself, Worcester Crown Court was told.
Wayne Moreton, 37, of The Slad, Wilden, pleaded not guilty in June to possessing ecstasy tablets, cocaine and amphetamine intending to supply other people.
Mr Pardeep Tiwana, prosecuting, said he committed suicide on August 1.
Judge Andrew Geddes, who closed the file, said that co-accused Craig Matthews, 31, of Admiral Walk, Kidderminster, who denied possessing and supplying 100 ecstasy tablets, should have his case listed for a pre-trial review in the near future.
