RED Lion A player Russell Wilks hit a 301 nine-darter to cap an incredible night of action in the Banks's Bewdley darts league.
Rising Sun B's Andrew Perry was on the receiving end as his side went down 6-1 to in-form Lions.
Wilks hit a 97 break followed up by an 85 then an incredible 119 shot out to complete the highest finish of the night in the league.
Red Lion B shaded their clash with Rising Sun A 4-3 with Alan Marshall hitting the highest break of the night, opening on a 120 start.
Waggon & Horses captain Jackie Crew was unlucky in her opening game against Bewdley B's Dave Green.
Both players were hitting high scoring darts but Crew's lack of concentration, missing a 32 peg with three darts, allowed Green to take the first match on double eight.
With a comfortable 3-1 lead Bewdley B were cruising, but the Horses never gave up and Crew atoned for her earlier lapses with a double 18 to win the match 4-3.
Cock & Magpie's 16-year-old rookie Glen Harrison took a major scalp by beating league champions Waggon & Horses A's top player Kevin Tipper. But it wasn't enough to inspire the Maggies as the champs won the match 4-3.
Wribbenhall Social are still looking for their first win of the season as they were thumped 6-1 by Black Boy A, while Great Western lost 6-1 to Waggon B. Bliss Gate v Bewdley A was postponed.
