Pleasure catches have been good, with furnace feed pellet with sinking hookers, corn and meat luring carp, tench and bream at medium range for a Bridgnorth couple.
There have also been visitors from Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester, who reported catches in excess of 150lb off Willow Pool.
The best approach on any of the pools at the moment is to make sure of plumbing the depth accurately, fish just touching bottom, and keep feeding regularly. Furnace Feed Pellet with corn, meat and soft pellet on the hook are currently the best baits.
As the nights are now drawing in, the Sunday Open, an afternoon/evening match, needs to be drawn on time to avoid losing match time to the light.
