EVESHAM firemen turned out on parade on Sunday to mark the fourth anniversary of the New York terrorist atrocities of 9/11.
They paid a silent tribute to the New York firefighters who lost their lives at the twin towers of the World Trade Centre and laid buckets of water and floral tributes beneath a plaque on the outside of the fire station wall in Merstow Green.
Two Cotswold firemen, Ian Showmark and Andy Peaston, took part in Nottingham's Robin Hood marathon on Sunday in memory of their colleagues who lost their lives in the disaster.
