SLIMMING champs have shed an impressive 12 stones between them.
Three Vale women who have tried every diet going have finally found the one that suits them all - the Slimming World plan.
Tracey Canning, Karen Macpherson and Angela Wilkes are finally on the road to success by losing weight and feeling fitter than ever. All three women have shared the same nightmare experience of not being able to loose weight after trying several diets.
Mrs Canning, 41 from Lower Moor said: "I've tried them all the Cambridge, Weight Watchers and was absolutely starving you name a diet I've been on it. It wasn't until I joined Slimming World did I see the weight come off."
Mrs Canning joined the Bengeworth group last October weighing 15 stones and after 11 months on has lost five stones through exercise and sticking to a eating programme has helped her accomplished her weight loss.
"This really has worked for me combining a diet where you eat until your full is great. I also walk three times a day and go to the gym on a regular basis. I'm learning to run now and hope to run a marathon next year. "
Karen Macpherson a prison officer from Bretforton says adapting to this diet has changed the way she treats food and has learnt that eating foods she actually enjoys is not a bad thing.
"I've tried every diet and found I was starving by the end of night and would start binge eating late in the evenings. I now eat regular healthy meals and eat even chocolate but I make sure I go to the gym as exercise is an important part to losing weight."
The 37-year-old who gained weight while pregnant had tried every diet and even turned to hypnosis in a bid to shed the pounds.
"I tried everything - there's not one diet, hypnosis trick I didn't try and nothing worked. I feel so much better for joining this group and losing weight while still being able to eat."
Angela Wilkes, 25, a mother with three step-children said: "I was always overweight and I am not ready to tell anyone how much I weighed before I joined Slimming World but I am so pleased with losing five stones and one and a half pounds.
