CHRISTINE Ritchie gave a talk on her experience as companion to an Arabian princess, at the August meeting, and president Kath Oakley reported a successful strawberry tea had been held.
£150 from the proceeds of the tea, which raised £250, was sent to Acorns Children's Hospice.
The president asked members to considering offering to serve on committee for the coming year.
Members were told that the WI annual meeting will be held at Cardiff on June 7.
As the October meeting will coincide with the group's 10th anniversary, a lunch is being arranged at Le Brasserie, Kidderminster.
Coming events include: Wednesday, September 28, "Evening in Kenya", Chaddesley Corbett village hall, 7pm for 7.30pm. There will be a meeting on Wednesday in Stourport Memorial Park community centre at 10am, when Di Bothwell will talk about sugar flowers.
