DURING his year as chairman of the Moreton Show Society, one of Graham Baddeley's main aims has been to encourage all the section committees to take on new board members to revitalise the society year on year.
"To this end," he explained, "and following a suggestion from Richard Sibthorp who, as many will know, emigrated with his wife Ali to New Zealand last December, council, with the backing of section committees, have through a series of meetings, established a support link with the Gloucestershire Federation of Young Farmers, at county level.
"It is hoped that that this joint co-operation will, over the coming years, grow stronger and stronger and be of mutual benefit to both organisations." Mr Baddeley added: "I am confident that co-operation such as this will enable Moreton Show to maintain its tradition as a truly agricultural and horse show for many years to come."
