PEOPLE with an in-depth knowledge of the history of Wyre Forest are being sought for a new project in the area.
Worcestershire Forestry Commission has set up three new waymarked walks through the Wyre Forest, near Bewdley.
Now it wants to use the network to map out a fourth option.
The heritage trail the commission has in mind would not only focus on the natural history of the woodland but also its industrial past.
Before the team can finish planning the route, it needs more information about the kind of activities carried out there in the past 2,000 years.
Education officer, Lyn Owen, said: "We already know there is a captivating story to be told.
"We are desperately keen to hear from anyone with evidence of anecdotes of particular sites."
Anyone with any information should call 01299 266929.
