PERSHORE'S Vale Harmony barbershop chorus entertained members of Worcester Severn Rotary Club at a lunch held at Worcester County Cricket ground on Sunday. The event was one of a number planned by the Rotary Club to raise £54,000 over a period of two years to build a family suite at the new St Richard's Hospice. The suite will enable relatives to visit hospice patients for longer periods than is currently possible. Jim Cook of Vale Harmony said: "We rehearse every Wednesday evening at Fladbury village hall and we enjoy the challenge of singing to an audience now and then, particularly in support of such a worthy cause."
