A KIDDERMINSTER motorcyclist died in a collision on the town's Worcester Road on Monday afternoon.
Robin Preece, 30, of Blount Terrace, was confirmed dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at 1.23pm, near the Brooklyn Ford garage.
It was believed Mr Preece's Honda motorbike collided with a fixed sign on the central reservation and came to rest against a blue and white Isuzu van, driven by a 37-year-old Telford man, who was not injured. The County Air Ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed until just after 5pm.
Witnesses or anyone with information about what happened are asked to contact PC Gordon Hogg at Kidderminster Police Station on 08457 444888.
Fire crews from Kidder-minster and Stourport were called to cut two men free from a vehicle involved in a three-car accident in Stourport on Tuesday.
The roof of a Nissan 100 was removed using specialist equipment on the Bewdley Road following the collision, at about 8am.
Nobody was seriously hurt in the incident that also involved a Volvo 360 and Ford Mondeo.
Both the driver and passenger in the Nissan 100 were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital suffering from minor injuries and were later released.
