I READ your front page article concerning the two women and their concern about traffic in Mickleton "Mums Take Action on Traffic hell".
I don't care what traffic uses our Crescent as long as they keep it in the road.
I can see the woman's problem, who walks the long way round, being afraid to use the pavement. Two problems exist around this district.
A) Kids with motorcycles or cars on pavements.
B) If people wish to put cars etc in their own front gardens, the resident(s) have to have a slope in front of their home which I believe they have to pay the council to do the work.
I think a better idea would be to slope the edge of the pavements, when constructing roads.
