Theatre review - National Hero at the Festival Theatre, Malvern (until Saturday)
TAKE a bow Timothy West and company.
We all know what a splendid actor Mr West is and though playing to a sparsely populated auditorium he, and his three fellow actors - in particular Nichola McAullife, gave it their all as true professionals.
Perhaps the climax to the Ashes series influenced the lack of posteriors in position - but those absent missed a most enthralling play which will soon transfer to the West End.
You've got until Saturday to get there and witness strong performances all round and a gripping modern tale of a bomb disposal expert entering the final phase of his career when a terrorist attack occurs. VW
