SHANE Drahm is set to make his first start for Worcester Warriors in Saturday's Guinness Premiership clash with Saracens.
The Australian has been eased in following knee surgery in the summer but, with James Brown almost certain to miss the Sixways match, Drahm is expected to line up at fly-half.
He kicked a pair of drop goals in Sunday's 20-15 win at London Irish after replacing Brown in the first-half.
Brown hurt his knee against his former side and will learn later today the full extent of the injury after a scan.
But Worcester's director of rugby, John Brain, hopes he will be back before too long to battle it out with Drahm for the number ten shirt.
Brain's only other injury concern is Thinus Delport, who came off against Irish with a quad strain. But the full-back has a good chance of returning in time for the Sixways encounter.
Another player who comes back into contention is Nicolas Le Roux. The Frenchman has been troubled by a back injury but is now fully fit and available for selection.
There is also good news concerning prop Lee Fortey, who dislocated his shoulder in the pre-season friendly against Benetton Treviso.
Brain said: "Lee Fortey is making extremely good progress. The expectation is that he will be back in a couple of months."
