CLASSIC Broadway and West End musical Seven Brides For Seven Brothers arrives at Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre for a short run from Tuesday.
Set in Oregon in 1850, the show follows the story of Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, who goes to town to get a wife.
He convinces Milly to marry him and they return to his home. Only then does she discover he has six brothers - all living in the cabin.
Dave Willets stars as Adam in the role famously created by Howard Keel.
Although Dave has starred in many West End roles including Cats, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera, his most recent role at the Alexandra Theatre was as Bert in the smash-hit Go and Play Up Your Own End.
The role of Milly will by played by Shona Lindsay, whose West End musical credits include starring roles in Phantom of the Opera and Grease.
Described as "a glorious romp, brimful of hand-clapping, effervescent energy and dazzling dance routines," the show features 16 classic songs by Johnny Mercer and Gene de Paul, including Bless Your Beautiful Hide, Sobbin' Women and Wonderful Wonderful Day.
Performances take place from Tuesday, September 20 to Saturday, September 24, evenings at 7.30pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.
Tickets, priced £9.50-24.50, are available on 0870 607 7544.
