MAY I congratulate Tom Guest on his review of the One Hundred House pub and restaurant in Stourbridge Road.
I agree with his observations. It is a great pub but I wish he had mentioned one of the main reasons it is so good, ie: the smoking policy they have, which makes the atmosphere so fresh and clean. This complements the tasteful dcor and furnishing.
It manages this despite the absence of piled up ashtrays and nub ends on the floor. So get along you non-smokers - and smokers trying to give up, and enjoy a pint or a meal in an unusually fresh and clean environment all served by friendly staff.
I have no connection with the Hundred House except, although not local to me, I intend to make it my local.
