RECENTLY my purse was stolen in a local supermarket and through Your View I would like to express my gratitude to the store, my bank and the police for their concern and sympathy, condolences and practical help.
All of this helped so much to take the trauma out of the situation.
Also my thanks to my daughter for her moral support and coping with phone calls from me.
It was extremely useful to have my store cards etc covered by insurance, as the company reported their theft for me as part of the cover.
I had always thought I was alert to the danger and was suitably careful. I even suspect now that I may have been followed from the bank - which was crowded on the day in question - and where I had withdrawn my pension.
So ladies, I urge you all to take extra care when shopping and keep your purses well hidden.
