JUDGING by the age of the men in the Flashback photograph you published on Friday, September 9, my guess is that they were members of the Voluntary Training Corps during the First World War.
The VTC was somewhat similar to the Home Guard in the Second World War although they were not issued with uniforms. There were three battalions of the VTC in Worcestershire - the Worcester battalion based at the Silver Street drill hall, a Kidderminster one at the drill hall in George Street and a Redditch one at the drill hall in Easemore Road.
