TWELVE members, wrapped up against the wind and rain, were in action at last Sunday's opening match of the Win-ter/Autumn League season.
Jerry Akerman was a convincing winner of the Fiesta Cakes Autumn League contest with a winning weight of 92.8.0.
Richard Hall (57.6.0) was runner-up, Ray Woods (49.10.0) was third and Antony Icke (35.4.0) fourth.
The next couple of matches take place this weekend at Pinvin Forest Farm on Saturday (Knockout Cup) and the next day against the Workies at Loxley.

THE youth section's Rob Tingle Memorial Trophy was staged at Willow Farm Fishery last Saturday.
Jeff Baguley was the event's overall winner with David Thompson claiming the Junior Cup honours.

Evesham Jubilee Society
THE annual outing to Barby Canals gave members an enjoyable day despite the fishing below the standard of previous years.
Matt Kiddle won the Junior Annual Cup, the Kimberley Cup went to Doug Smith and John Davis topped the Annual Cup standings.
