MICHELLE Parsons was placed second in the female race, first in her age group and most impressively 71st overall in the third annual Vitruvian Triathlon.
The event comprised a 1900m two-lap wetsuit lake swim in Rutland Water, a 52-mile bike ride and a 21K run.
The Evesham ace produced her best swim time (41.16) for the distance but she was well down the listings but once on to the bike she swept through the field eventually getting all the way up to second.
Her time of 2.26.34 was the fastest female bike time and also 40th fastest overall out of the 450 competitors.
Out on the run, Parsons started to eat into the first place athlete's lead finishing strongly to clock 1.34.37 and an overall time of 4.44.44.
