A SCRUFFY man wielding a knife attempted to rob the HSBC bank in Studley on Monday.
The incident happened at about 3.30pm at the Alcester Road branch but the man left after staff put the shutters down.
The would-be-robber, probably in his mid thirties with a local accent, is described as of mixed race, and about 5ft 10ins tall with olive skin. He was wearing a green baseball cap and a bomber jacket.
No-one was hurt during the incident. Witnesses can call police on 01926 415000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
