THANKS to a last minute agreement this weekend's Gatcombe Park event will be sponsored by Blue Square, one of the largest interactive betting agencies in the UK, in association with 20-20 Public Relations and long standing supporters Countax and Land Rover.
The event is being staged at the Princess Royal's Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.
Heading a massive entry of 550 riders will be the winner of the recent Land Rover Burghley, William Fox-Pitt, who will be competing against competitors from both the UK and 12 overseas countries giving a truly international flavour to this popular event.
Unfortunately, newly crowned European Eventing champion Zara Phillips has been forced to withdraw.
Starting at 9am, the event will feature dressage, show jumping and cross-country phases running throughout both days.
The event attracts many interesting shops to the trade stand area, which will include the Gatcombe Collection.
At various times during both days, HRH The Princess Royal will present prizes to the winners of each of the various sections.
Gatcombe Park is situated at Hampton Fields, midway between Minchinhampton and Avening and will be signposted from both directions.
Spectator admission is £5 for a car and occupants on each day. For more information including the full entry list visit the website at www.gatcombe-events.co.uk
