FOLLOWING the sad death of the club's founder, Ernie Huggins, reported in last week's Advertiser, the club resumed its normal programme on September 6 when an evening of entertainment concluded with a concert by one of the stars of the club, the 2002 and 2003 "International Young Theatre Organist of the Year" Adam Evans.
Now a regular performer on the organ/keyboard circuit across the country when university studies allow, Adam is sure to entertain us royally.
The evening starts at 7.30pm in Cookhill Village Hall with entrance only £1 for members and £2 for non-members.
Advance notice is also given of the Club's "Annual Celebrity Concert" on Wednesday, November 2, to be given by one of Yamaha's leading demonstrators, the brilliant Ryan Edwards.
Tickets are £3 for members and £4 for non-members and are available now from Mervyn John on 01527 852904 or John Parker on 01527 852365.
Space is limited so be sure to get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
