A WORCESTER couple returned from holiday to discover that a parrot had taken up residence in their back garden.
Cynthia and Gerald Harris, of Old Road, Lower Wick, were greeted from their break in Greece by the exotic bird and are now trying to find out who it belongs to.
Mrs Harris said: "Some neighbours had left a note saying they had spotted a parrot in our garden, and we thought it was a joke.
"But then there it was. It was content to just walk across the lawn - although it might not be for long as we have just got our cat back from the cattery.
The parrot is green with a red head and a yellow back with black markings.
