A BANK manager from Worcester completed a gruelling 120-mile charity bike ride by visiting eight Midlands branches in a day.
Chris Tucker, area manager for Lloyds TSB, was taking part in the company's Relay Of Care to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The 51-year-old began his whistlestop tour on Thursday morning in Hagley, near Kidderminster before cycling to Worcester, Upton-upon-Severn and Tewkesbury.
Accompanied by friends Malcolm Evans and Bill Tallon, he then travelled through Brockworth, Burford, Shipston on Stour and Warwick before heading to Coventry the following day.
The trio raised about £1,000 for the charity.
Once there, the trio met up with 150 other Lloyds employees, who had brought over-sized jigsaw pieces from all the country to form a spectacular emblem.
Mr Tucker said: "We have been fund-raising for the Relay of Care through out August and we wanted to raise as much money as possible to fund Marie Curie nurses."
The trio raised around £1,000 for the charity, which helps care for terminally ill cancer patients.
