BEDWARDINE continued their good start to the new season with an impressive 7-3 home win against Perdiswell in a Worcester Sunday League Division One clash.
Grant Gibbs was their shooting star, netting five times with Wayne Sherwood and Chris Newman also on the score sheet.

In the Premier Division, Vaughan Rifle fired a brace for Perrywood who won 4-2 at Kempsey and Kevin Ginger scored all four goals as Blackpole beat Exel Metro 4-1.
Carl Chess was another four-goal marksman in Wilsons RSVP XI's 7-2 success at Barbourne Celtic.
Goals from Neil Morgan, Phil Wild and Paul Knivett secured three points for Villagers -- 3-1 winners at Plumbers Arms.
Perowne Park Rangers thrashed AFC Deers Leap 9-1 with Peter Jones, Dean Barmby and Dean Palmer all bagging a brace each.
Other doubles came from Luan Ghashi in Sporting Worcester's 3-1 win at Bringsty Sports; Steve Edwards of AFC Severnside who beat Portobello 3-1; Nicky Weston as New Inn Claines won 4-1 at Comer Rangers and Shane Smith of AFC Mazak who hammered a depleted Nelson side 6-1.
On Saturday, Brian Craven notched another hat-trick as Powick thum-ped Lamb & Flag 5-0, Jamie Abba adding a double.
There were two goals each for Dave Schooling of Hanley Swan, who beat Pershore Manor Rovers 4-2, Phil Jenkins in West Malvern's 4-2 victory at Pershore Manor Rovers Reserves, Craig Whitehouse as Inkberrow 'A' Reserves lost 3-2 at VBL Sports and Wayne Baldwin of Martley Spurs, 3-2 winners at Hallow.
