STUART Watkiss would like to reproduce the key elements of Kidderminster Harriers' more impressive away displays back at Aggborough.
Harriers have so far lacked something at home, producing late comebacks in all three matches.
But Watkiss' men have been very much on top on their travels with some forceful performances although, ironically, the goals have flowed more freely on home turf.
Stunning comebacks defeated Woking 2-1 and Canvey Island 3-2 in Kidderminster, while Wayne Hatswell's goal six minutes from time ensured a draw with Southport.
Manager Watkiss admitted: "I was pleased with the way we played against Woking when I thought we were okay overall and it wasn't too bad against Southport in terms of chances but we were poor against Canvey Island."
In contrast, Harriers deserved more than a 1-0 defeat at Exeter City and should have thrashed Scarborough only to end up 1-1.
Their 2-0 victory at Cambridge United was the result of the season so far although they were hoping to better that with success at early leaders Grays Athletic today.
Watkiss reflected: "I thought we played well for an hour against Exeter, murdered Scarborough, especially in the first-half, and did well over at Cambridge."
So their unbeaten but nevertheless unconvincing home run will be back under the spotlight next Saturday against a Forest Green Rovers side containing more than a few ex-Harriers.
Although the games have been thrilling so far -- an improvement on recent seasons -- Watkiss will want his team to stamp their authority on the game from a much earlier stage.
n Harriers have moved their home game with Morecambe to 1pm on Saturday, October 8, to avoid clashing with England against Austria.
