A CONTROVERSIAL play, which caused uproar when it premiered in 1993, is coming to The Courtyard in Hereford on Wednesday, June 7.
David Mamet's Oleanna, an exploration of the battle for supremacy between a college professor and his female student, caused a sensation in the national press.
Electrifying audiences with its ruthless dissection of sexual power games and political correctness, the play was one of the defining theatrical events of the last decade.
"Oleanna has caused a storm wherever it has played - it arouses the most extraordinary reactions in people," said Michael Cabot, director of the London Classic Theatre Company's production.
Tickets for the play are available from the Courtyard box office, which can be contacted on 01432 359252.
