MANAGER Jan Molby accepts that Kidderminster Harriers will be linked with a variety of players during their preparations for life in the Nationwide League Third Division.
Since clinching promotion from the Nationwide Conference hardly a week has gone by without Harriers being connected with potential newcomers.
Molby said: "I'm going to get names thrown at me because there are going to be an awful lot of players out of contract. People are talking about anything of between 600-800, so there will be a lot to look at.
"Of course, 95 per cent of all players have now got agents so you can imagine what the fax machine is like.
"You are getting bombarded with players right, left and centre, but we know exactly who we want and we are not going to be side tracked by agents.
"People are not going to talk us into anyone, we know who we want and that's who we are going to go after."
Among those linked as targets are former Swansea City striker Tony Bird and Notts County's former Crewe midfielder Francis Tierney.
Harriers, however, expect to officially confirm the capture of Sheffield Wednesday's ex-Wales captain Barry Horne in a few weeks time.
His contract with Wednesday does not expire until July 1 when his move to Kidderminster is set to be sealed.
With experienced campaigners poised to exit Aggborough, Molby knows he needs to boost his player's ranks.
"We do need experience because it is a tough division and I need to bring in older players to help the youngsters."
