I WAS in Ledbury during the May Bank Holiday and surprise, surprise.... they have a hospital complete with accident section.
Ledbury is (no disrespect intended) a small, very attractive country town, nowhere near the size of Kidderminster.
Upon asking, I was told there were no plans to close or modify Ledbury hospital in any way, shape or form.
I am at a loss, (yet again) to understand the logic of almost certainly closing Kidderminster sooner or later.
The claim to keep Ledbury hospital open cannot be because of its location. According to my OS map it is nearer to Hereford than Kidderminster is to Worcester.
Please could someone come clean and really explain their thinking, obviously clearer than mine!
