LOVE was in the air during a visit from town twinners when two members tied the knot.
THE BIG DAY: The happy couple - Nick Brownjohn and Sandy Reiff
Nick Brownjohn, from the Spa, and Sandy Reiff, from Bad Ems, shared their wedding day on Friday with members of the twinning association from both sides of the Channel.
The pair met during an exchange to Bad Ems, which is twinned with Droitwich, nearly four years ago and have been inseparable ever since.
Sandy left Germany to be with Nick and, earlier this year, the couple announced their wedding, which was held at St Peter's Church, in The Holloway.
They timed it to coincide with a visit to the town from Bad Ems residents.
The service was followed by a party at The Raven Hotel, in the centre of town.
The couple have set up home in Droitwich and are still active members on the twinning association's committee.
Droitwich Spa Twinning Association's publicity officer, Barrie Nicholson, said he was delighted with the wedding and that the couple wanted to share their special day with twinners.
He said: "The twinning association is about building relationships."
