DEFENDER Mark Bowater has pledged his future to Bromsgrove Rovers.
The influential skipper has been the subject of recent approaches from both Redditch United and Stafford Rangers.
But the club's chief executive Pat Bannister said: "He has pledged his future to Bromsgrove until the end of the season. It is a positive thing for himself and is very good for the club."
Rovers are without a game in the Dr Martens League Western Division tomorrow, but have arranged a home friendly with Interlink Express Midland Alliance side Oldbury United (3.00).
Manager Steve Daley plans to give several of his fringe players a run-out.
Rovers have their fund-raising friendlies against Wolves and Aston Villa next Monday and Tuesday.
