BROMSGROVE Rovers manager Steve Daley vows that his side will beat Halesowen Town in their FA Umbro Trophy first round derby tomorrow (3.00).
Rovers go into the tie having lost every home game they have played this season -- but Daley believes they can shock their Dr Martens League Premier Division neighbours.
He said: "I don't think for one moment that Halesowen are any better than us.
"We are probably a better team than they are and I think we can beat them."
Daley says failure to take their chances is at the root of their problems. "We are playing well -- it is not as if we are playing badly. We are creating chances and we just have to convert them.
"We have conceded only one goal in three games which isn't bad. The defenders are defending well -- it is just sticking chances away at the other end."
Rovers have a triple boost with the return of striker Richard Ball from suspension and defender Mark Bowater from a head injury, which allows Richard Congrave to move back up front having filled in as a central defender in recent games.
Expected to be on the bench is 15-year-old Patrick Bannister, the son of Rovers chief executive Pat, who impressed after coming on as substitute in last week's home defeat against Cinderford to become the youngest player ever to play for Rovers' first team.
Daley said: "I think he will make the grade."
