WORCESTER City believe "fan power" can play a big part in steering them to a shock FA Cup victory against Torquay United on Saturday.
The club want the City fans in an all-ticket 3,000 crowd to make as much noise as possible.
They are even looking for musicians to help add a bit of Continental-style atmosphere.
City director Jon Prescott said: ''The crowd can easily act as a 12th player.
''Normally crowds are fairly quiet at Worcester. It would be nice to get a bit of vocal support behind us and, if we could find three or four musicians who could blast out something like The Great Escape, it adds a bit of carnival atmosphere, makes everybody aware and drives the team on.''
''The last thing we want is for 2,500 Worcester people to be out-shouted by less than 500 Torquay supporters.
"It disappoints me that the fans seem to make more noise away from home. I am not knocking the supporters -- it is just the fact that Worcester fans are not so vocal in the way they support the team.''
He said that any willing musicians can contact the club on 01905-23003.
n Tickets for the Torquay game are available from the club offices from 2pm to 5pm and the social club from 8pm to 10pm, up to and including Friday or until all are sold.
Prices are £7 for the ground (£5 concessions) and £8 for the main stand with no concessions.
Extra car-parking has been laid on for Saturday's game on the Gregory's Bank industrial estate, at a charge of £1 per car.
If the game is drawn, the replay will be at Torquay's Plainmoor ground on Tuesday, November 24 (7.45).
