WORCESTERSHIRE crashed to a heavy defeat in their Second Eleven Championship game with Glamorgan at New Road.
The visitors, resuming on 184-4 overnight, finally declared on 261-9. Mark Wallace was top scorer with 82, while trialists Roger Sillence and Kevin Nash both took three wickets for the County.
Chasing a target of 298 off 80 overs, Worcestershire had no answer to some lively bowling and were skittled out for 139.
Five wicket hauls from Alex Wharf and Owain Parkin prompted the collapse. Kabir Ali was the only batsman to offer any resistance as Glamorgan cruised to a 158-run victory.
