RE: "Police blame apathy for lack of Specials" (Ledbury Reporter, June 16).
As usual the Police get it wrong.
Come on Sgt Bob Wilson, the 'A' does not stand for 'Apathy' it stands for 'Attitude'.
Get your head out of the sand and realise that no longer are the public prepared to give up their time for nowt while all the police can do is point that speed gun at us.
Millions of public pounds are being spent just hounding the public as the drive around doing their day to day jobs, while some little thugs raid their sheds, gardens, houses; and where are the police: heading in the opposite direction with a speed gun in their hands.
If you really want 'Joe Public' on your side why not start by getting on their side.'
