PAUL Webb is expected to overcome a bruised ankle in time to play for leaders Kidderminster Harriers in tomorrow's Nationwide Conference match against Northwich Victoria at Aggborough (3.0).
The long-serving midfielder sustained the injury during last Saturday's physical encounter with Southport at Haig Avenue.
Other players also picked up bruises but are set to be fit for tomorrow's clash.
Kidderminster go into the match knowing that they need another ten points from their last six matches to make sure they will be promoted to the Football League.
They are currently three points clear of their only title rivals Rushden & Diamonds who have played two more matches than manager Jan Molby's glory-seekers.
Big-spending Rushden face a tough test tomorrow at Southport who made Harriers battle every inch of the way for last Saturday's 1-0 victory.
Molby said of his side's promotion chase: "We are getting closer and we want to get the points as quickly as we can. Tomorrow, though, will be a difficult game for us.
"Northwich beat Woking 3-1 at home on Tuesday night and that will give them some confidence.
"That makes them virtually safe and they can be more relaxed against us. They are an attacking side and it should be an entertaining game."
Molby is also hoping Southport boss Mark Wright, his former team-mate at Liverpool, will do him a favour by masterminding a victory over Rushden.
"I'm sure Rushden will find it difficult particularly if Southport can find the same determination as they did against us last Saturday. If that happens then it will be a bonus."
Molby is hoping for another bumper crowd at Aggborough tomorrow to cheer on his promotion-chasers.
"We had a 6,250 crowd against Rushden and it would be nice for people to come back. It was a fantastic atmosphere against Rushden and a 4,000 crowd would be nice. We need to win tomorrow to set us up for what is a hectic end to the season."
