DAVE Cook was the hero with 121 as Stourport Cricket Club ended their run of poor results with a winning draw against visitors Alvechurch on Saturday.
Batting first, the home side slumped to 30-4, until Cook came to the crease.
Support from Phil Williams (32) and Ian Delo, who finished unbeaten on 25, saw Stourport achieve a final total of 223-6.
Alvechurch never looked likely to get near the target after Colin Buckle took 4-60.
Skipper Williams then capped a fine all-round display with 3-21.

Batting first, Stourport began brightly as Neil Bailey hit 55 before Chris Hogg took over and dominated successive 70-run partnerships with Eddie Giles and Neil Wildgust.
Hogg finished 80no as Stourport posted a total of 215-3.
Alvechurch capitalised on wayward bowling and poor fielding, romping home in the 35th over.
