MANAGER Jan Molby believes Kidderminster Harriers are strong enough to be at least as successful as Football League newcomers Cheltenham Town.

The Aggborough boss, however, knows table-topping Harriers still have the hardest job to do -- and that's clinch promotion from the Nationwide Conference.

They are currently four points clear of second-placed Rushden & Diamonds who have a match in hand.

Today Molby's title-chasers are without a match, but next Saturday face an all-ticket showdown with Rushden at Aggborough.

The Harriers boss said: "There's an awful lot of excitement around the football club because we are doing well. And because of that people have got a lot of questions which they want to try to get answered.

"They include would we be able to go full-time and would the ground be up to scratch? I can assure all the fans that if promotion ever happens, we'll taken care of all those things.

"The ground will be up to scratch and the players will go full-time. We have got a good enough financial situation at the club to be able to survive in the Third Division, but the biggest thing is that we have got to try to get there.

"People talk about Cheltenham being in the Third Division for the first time ever, but we shouldn't forget that it's only a three years ago they were in the Southern League.

"I certainly think that Rushden and ourselves are as strong as Cheltenham were last year."
