KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Jan Molby is hoping Hereford United will be suffering from an FA Cup hangover when the sides clash in Monday's Nationwide Conference showdown at Edgar Street (1.00).
"It's difficult to say how they will be affected," said Molby as he reflected on Hereford's 2-1 FA Cup third round replay defeat at Premiership Leicester City on Wednesday night.
"They did fantastically well," said the former Liverpool star, who has guided Kidderminster to fourth place in the table three points behind leaders Nuneaton Borough with three matches in hand.
"Hereford have got a lot of ability in their side which they have shown in their FA Cup matches this season. It's certainly going to be a big game for us.
"It's a local derby and will be backed by a big crowd, but if we approach it in the right manner then we have got more than a good chance.
"The forecast is for a mild day so that should encourage a lot of people to go to the match, but the most im-portant thing for us is to keep on winning as long as we can.
"Hereford, though, have got a reasonable home record and have won six league matches at Edgar Street."
Kidderminster have trained on Monday and Wednesday nights this week with Molby planning to put his players through their paces again on Sunday.
Although former Hereford campaigner Andy Brownrigg is back in training following a cartilege operation he is not expected to feature in Monday's squad. The 23-year-old, however, could play some part in the return match against Hereford at Aggborough on Monday, January 3 (1pm).
Midfielder Brownrigg's last match was on Saturday, October 9, when Harriers registered a 4-0 home victory title rivals Yeovil Town.
He underwent a cartilege operation on November 1.
Still ruled out are Phil King (knee), Steve Pope (hamstring) and Shaun Cunnington (back).
The worst affected is midfielder Cunnington.
"He's a problem with his back and could be out for weeks, perhaps months," said Molby.
The Aggborough chief is likely to name an unchanged squad from that selected for last Saturday's important 2-1 home victory over high-riding Morecambe.
