UTILITY player Steve Taylor continues on the comeback trail to-night when he plays for Kidderminster Harriers in their Optimum Interiors Central Conference Lea-gue match at Hednesford.
The former Bromsgrove Rovers campaigner has not played for the first team since the end of August because of an ankle injury which required surgery.
He is now battling for match fitness and with another 90 minutes under his belt tonight could be in line for a comeback in Kidderminster's Nationwide Conference clash against title rivals Kingstonian at Aggborough on Saturday.
Midfielder Rene Petersen, who missed Saturday's 4-2 FA Umbro Trophy second round defeat against Telford United at Aggborough because of a groin injury, has been having treatment and is hopeful of being available for selection on Saturday when skipper Paul Webb will be ruled out due to a one-match suspension.
Kidderminster's other casualty Andy Brownrigg is continuing his road back to fitness after undergoing a cartilage operation.
The former Hereford United player is hoping to be back in action in a month's time.
Harriers, meanwhile, have arran-ged to play Hayes in the Conference at Aggborough on Saturday, January 15 (3pm) instead of on the scheduled date of Monday, February 7.
Kidderminster were originally due to have entertained Welling United on January 15 but they will now be involved in the FA Umbro Trophy that day. Hereford United are in Optimum Interiors Central Conference League action tonight when they entertain Rushden & Diamonds (7.30).
