NEWCOMER Ian Clarkson is included in Kidderminster Harriers squad for tomorrow's Nationwide Conference clash at Telford United (3.0).
The 28-year-old defender, formerly with Birmingham City, Stoke City and Northampton Town, signed an 18-month deal with Harriers last night.
"It's a good signing for us. He's been a winner at clubs he's been at before and he wants to be a winner with us. He's a high quality defender," said Kidderminster's assistant manager Gary Barnett today.
Clarkson's inclusion in the squad is likely to be the only change to the one selected for Monday's clash at Hednesford which ended in an impressive 2-0 victory for manager Jan Molby's men.
Molby is expecting a tough clash at lowly Telford tomorrow, saying: "They had a great win at home to Nuneaton last Saturday. They are not a bad team. Again it's a local derby and it will be another difficult game for us.
"Our players, to be fair, have had a good attitude throughout the season. They have worked extremely hard training and are getting a little bit of a reward now by being fifth in the table. But fifth is still not good enough. We want to finish as high as we possibly can."
Kidderminster, without injured Ian Foster (foot), Andy Brownrigg (knee) and Steve Taylor (ankle), are seven points adrift of leaders Rushden & Diamonds with two games in hand.
Kidderminster (from): Clarke, Hinton, Hines, Clarkson, Webb, Pope, Smith, Bennett, Skovbjerg, Druce, Stamps, Petersen, Hadley, King, Harman, Barnett, Brock.
