KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Jan Molby has not ruled out making a playing comeback - although he says it is unlikely.

The former Liverpool and Denmark midfielder, who has seen his Harriers side lose their first two Nationwide Conference matches, said in a Danish newspaper interview that he may consider playing again.

He said today: "What I said in the interview was that you should never rule anything out in this game. But we are talking a long way down the road for that to happen, and I have every faith in the players we have got here."

And he added that he would be be pressing the panic button despite Harriers' poor start.

"It was never going to happen overnight.

"We have got a lot of new players and a lot of younger players. It will take a little bit of time - but we are on the right lines."

n And Worcester City manager Graham Allner has ruled out another plunge into the transfer market - despite their poor start to the new season.

City's new-look side have lost their first two games in the Dr Martens League Premier Division - but Allner wants to give the current players a chance.

He said: "I think we have to let things settle a bit to try and gel it together. The way I have always operated is that if we have problems, get on the training pitch and try and solve them."
