TOWN missed out on a chance to go top of the Banks's Brewery premier Division on Tuesday night when they lost 3-1.
DARLASTON 3, MALVERN TOWN 1
Malvern were on top for the first 20 minutes only for ace striker Simon Archer to put the home side in front in their first real attack.
Then five minutes later a back pass from Malvern's Sean Cotterill fell short and Archer nipped in to score his second.
A third followed early in the second half and Town's only consolation was in the 75th minute when substitute Scott Morris headed home a John Wade cross.
