ATHLETICS: Gillian Foote clinched victory in the first Wyre Forest Marathon on Sunday.
The Kidderminster Running Club member clocked three hours 46 minutes 44 seconds, with Sue Howarth second in 3-51-27.
Meanwhile, Darren Parkin came out on top in the men's race.
The Birmingham Rowheath runner recorded two hours 52 seconds with Ian Edwards of Poole Runners second.
Amazing Feet Running Club members Andy Norris and Les Jones ran the event in 4-23-57 and 5-9-03 respectively.
Amazing and Kidderminster club members also competed in the Stourbridge Stumble on Saturday.
Amazing's John Amos finished first in 41-44, followed by Norris 44-54, Wayne Slater 45-45, Richard Baker 48-17, Rob Edwards 48-20, Norma Edwards 50-42, Jim Dobson 54-50, Lindsay Pulley 59-28 and Jenny Badham 1-0-59.
Baker also competed in the Wollaston Woodland 5 at Stourbridge in 40-27.
Kidderminster's Dave Wood won the veterans' first prize at the Stourbridge Stumble, coming second overall.
Tim Kirk was the first KRC member to finish in the Rubery Half Marathon, in 1-30-38, giving him 10th place overall.
Dave Rollins was 12th in 1-31-38, Neil Kerr 14th in 1-35-13, and Adam Wright completed the men's team to give them second overall place, with a time of 1-56-02.
Also finishing the race were Maxine Yeo 2-07-32 and John Ash 2-07-49.
