ROB Myler has ended a two-and-half year spell at Sixways by deciding on a return to the North West.
The 30-year-old utility back has had offers to play both rugby league and rugby union and will decide his future in the next few days.
Myler became the club's first ever convert from rugby league in December 1997.
"I've had offers to go back to rugby league but I've also had offers from rugby union clubs so I'll make a decision after the weekend," he said.
"It has been a very successful two-and-a-half years for me it's just that the team has slipped a bit at crucial times in the season."
He has played at centre and on both wings and has never once regretted changing codes despite a life-time in rugby league before his move to Worcester.
"I felt I had gone a bit stale in League and that's why I decided to try union before Oldham went bust," he added.
"I've had a good two-and-a-half years in union and the option is to go back to league.
He will now return to his home in the North West to rejoin his family who moved back late last year.
Worcester's players report back for pre-season training on Monday.
