BROMSGROVE Rovers manager George Rooney has signed three more players in time for the new season.

He has snapped up former West Bromwich Albion winger Jamie Wills and midfielder Dean Joinson, while last season's goalkeeper Nore Gabbidon has also put pen to paper after attracting interest from other clubs.

All three are likely to play in Saturday's Dr Martens League Western Division opener at home to Rugby United.

Rooney said: "I have got what I consider in the circumstances to be quite a good set of players, although they are very young of course."
