Phyllis Hemming made a splash for the cash with a sponsored swim.
The pensioner, 68 next month and who had a heart attacked nine years ago, swam 64 lengths to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Phyllis, of Albert Road, Evesham, is a member of the Early Morning Swimmers club at Evesham Leisure Centre.
Phyllis had an hour to complete her swim and finished in 50 minutes.
Members composed a song to encourage her which commented: "Her early morning lengths are not as good/chattering more than she should".
Phyllis agreed. "I usually swim about 40 lengths a session, it depend how much chattering I do."
