LIB/DEM FAIR: On Saturday, the North Cotswold Lib/Dem Association are holding a fair at the Victoria Hall between 10am and 5pm.
FLOWER SHOW: Also on Saturday afternoon, the Windrush Valley Flower Show will be held at Great Barrington. The Chedworth Silver Band will be among the attractions.
PANTO FETE: On Sunday, the Bourton Panto Group are holding a summer fete between 10am and 5pm at the Victoria Hall. Stalls and refreshments.
DIABETIC EVENT: Bric a brac sale and teas are at the Victoria Hall on Tuesday between 1.30 and 4.30pm Proceeds will be in aid of Diabetic Research.
COFFEE MORNING AND SPEC APPEAL: On Wednesday, following 10am service of Holy Communion, there will be coffee and cakes at St. Lawrence's Church until 12noon.
The Mothers' Union are appealing for unwanted spectacles which can help others see. Vision Aid Overseas provides needy people with these specs. If you can help, contact Marian Mills at 74 Roman Way.
ST JOHN'S AMBULANCE: An open invitation to see what the St John's Ambulance organisation does is extended on Thursday evenings between 8 and 9.30pm. Venue is Notgrove Training Centre, Willow Court, Bourton Industrial Estate.

SPORTS PERSONALITY 2000: If you would like to nominate someone for the sports personality of the year award now is your chance. Nominees must be from Bourton Parish and may be a sportsperson, organiser or someone who has shown "true grit" and determination to get somewhere in their chosen field.
