WITH regard to Mrs Cash's letter on finance (Evening News, Monday, August 14).
Please, Mrs Cash, don't let other pensioners hear you manage on £69 per week. You are a marvellous woman to manage on that amount - you deserve a gold medal.
I have no TV, fridge, phone, gas or a washing machine. I do have electricity and must pay household tax, fire insurance, water rates and for smokeless fuel to heat my water.
That's not to mention my old home is 116 years old and is in need of constant repair.
My shop is joined to the home, with one toilet for the whole building.
I was born here, please allow me to die here!
